I'm working on a website about kids and cooking (I have had to lay aside my prejudice about the word 'kids' for the sake of money - how easily I am bought) and I've just been writing about party food. I've described all these very virtuous recipes for home-made crisps and jelly, and at the end I've added a postscript along the lines of, don't worry about it, go to the shop and stock up on junk - it won't hurt them once a year!
Sticky muffins sound fine to me!
