When I first saw the theme for this week I initially thought of this:

Hi Clare, Thanks for coming to visit my blog. Your mum is obviously as determined as me, but how sad that only those of us who can and will fight are able to access what is right for our children. We did get the funding (a later blog entitled 'Fight Fund')but is so emotionally exhausting.
Good luck to your mum in her fight for your brother. I know exactly what she is going through.
Love your photos. The shoes remind me of an exhibition showing in September by a Kiwi artist called Chrissie Jenkins. Her work influenced by 10 years living in Dubai. It's at 'Suze in Mayfair'opening 6th September

I like all of your photos. One of my sons was a midshipmen at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and was on the crew team. I started to post one of his crew photos, too. I think I like the shoe photo the best! So colorful. Blessings!
The pointy toes on those shoes look like they would hurt my feet, but I love the colors!

The Rocky Mountain Retreat
I love the rowing in particular and would have tried to get a shot, but they don't do any rowing on our river. I think it's the symmetry of all the oars that appeals (they are in a row, so fits fine!).
