Haiku

THE TRADITIONAL GRAMMARIAN AS POET

Haiku, you ku, he,
She, or it kus, we ku, you
Ku, they ku. Thang ku.

-Ted Hipple

As a linguist it amuses me!

its a Haiku (Japanese poem thing), where the three lines are 5, 7, 5 syllables long respectively. It's a play on conjugate a verb (I play, he she it plays, etc)... It's a linguists joke I feel...
