Ice skating!!! I'm horribly jealous. There is an outdoor ice rink in Exeter for Christmas, but Steve is very inventive with his excuses. Whatever he says, I know he's got an image of trying to pull me screaming around the edge of the ice. I like the idea, but suspect it might be less romantic in real life... :-)

Last year I dragged Phil to ice-skating at the Tower of London. This year he volunteered!! It was lovely, though my romantic ideas of holding hands round the ice is probably not going to be realised until we can both stop throwing one arm up every so often to stop the inevitable wet bottom effect...
